Vardaman hosts Calhoun City Dec. 1

The Vardaman Lady Rams opened the season with a 2-1 record after a 52-38 win over Mantachie last week.
Alaysia Madkins led with 15 points. Shylysses Rimmer scored 13 and Brittany Hawkins 10.
“We’re not where we need to be but the Mantachie game was a step in the right direction,” Lady Rams Coach Deanna Winter said.
The Rams lost to the Mustangs 67-49 to fall to 0-2 on the season. Deon Johnson led with 17 points and Wesley Casey added 13.
Vardaman's next home game is Tuesday, Dec. 1 against Calhoun City.
