The Vardaman Lady Rams are still waiting to find out if they will be a two or three seed in their district tournament at Hamilton next week.
The Lady Rams are 13-12 on the season and 3-2 in district play. They lost to Calhoun City 67-50 in their only game last week. Tiara Jones led Vardaman with 15 points and Alaysia Madkins scored 14.
They were beaten by East Webster at home Tuesday night and will finish the regular season at Hatley Friday.
“We have to play all four periods with intensity and rebound well if we’re going to have the success we want,” Lady Rams’ Coach Deanna Winter said.
The boys’ team, which is winless on the season, lost at Calhoun City 85-32. Brandon Walker scored 12 and Wesley Casey 11. They fell to East Webster Tuesday night.
