Calhoun Academy's Seth Walker sits down for a quick Q&A session.
Q: What do you enjoy most about the game of baseball?
A: Taking a win after we work hard for it.
Q: How would you describe your game? Are you a power hitter, more of a base hit guy, or a little of both?
A: I’m a little of both.
Q: How’d you first get into baseball?
A: Playing summer league.
Q: Do you have any good memories from playing at CA?
A: Playing for CA has been great to me. I’ve been playing high school since the seventh grade. It’s always been fun playing with my teammates. We’ve been good, but this year is going to be the year to go all out.
Q: What are your goals this year, and what do you need to do as a player to make them happen?
A: My goal for this year is to make it all the way to state and win it. What I need to do to make that happen as a player is to work hard at practice like I would play a real game and give 110 percent every pitch that’s thrown.
