All three county teams participated in softball action this week.
Beginning with Vardaman, the Lady Rams traveled to Calhoun City, picking up an 11-0 win over the Lady Wildcats. Saige Williams led the way for the Lady Rams with four RBIs, and Makynlie Jones picked up the win in the circle. The Lady Cats committed five errors.
Calhoun City also took on Water Valley, knocking off the Blue Devils 12-2. Aimee Buckley and Harlym Jennings had two RBIs apiece, and Buckley was also the winning pitcher.
Bruce played two games last week, falling to Oxford 12-2 and defeating Winona 24-8. In the win over Winona, Lily Tutor and Chloe Clements led the way with five and four RBIs apiece. Charleigh Kakales was credited with the win.
