Calhoun City Lady Wildcats defeated Bruce 12-7 in region action last Tuesday at Bruce Park.
Landyn Stoddard had five hits, including a home run and three doubles to lead the offense. Abby Vance and Conley Langford each had two hits.
Ariana Campbell hit a home run. Perry Beth Liles and Raven Arrington each hit a double.
Abby Vance earned the complete game victory allowing eight hits and six earned runs in seven innings of work.
Anna Taylor Camp led Bruce with three hits. Annie Kate Vanlandingham had two hits.
Diamond Campbell, Taylor Brooke White, Landry Dishman and Lily Kate Tutor each had a hit.
They were scheduled to play at East Webster last night (Tuesday). They host Water Valley Thursday and North Pontotoc Friday.
They finish a busy week playing at Winona Saturday.
Their game next Tuesday at Charleston has been cancelled.
