Cameron Clarke was joined by family and friends Wednesday as he signed a golf scholarship with Mississippi State University.
"This is something I know you've always dreamed of," Allan Clarke, the Bruce High School golf coach, told his son during the brief eremony. "We're all very proud of you."
Clarke has been an all-state golfer throughout his tenure at Bruce High and finished second in the Mississippi State Amateur this past year. He will enter his senior season next spring as the favorite to win the Class 2A state title.
