The Vardaman Lady Rams opened the 2013 slow pitch softball season with a pair of losses last weekend in the Houston Classic.
They fell to South Pontotoc 12-9 and Caledonia 3-1.
They are scheduled to host Houston on Thursday night at 6 p.m. and Calhoun City next Tuesday, Aug. 27.
